Xenol Insecticide

Insecticidal and fungicidal product intended for curative and preventive treatment against all wood pests: fungi, insects: termites, powderpost beetles, woodworm, house longhorn beetles, wood-boring insects… Thanks to a high concentration and strong residual effect, it allows for the radical elimination of all parasites. Odorless, it does not stain or discolor the wood. Any finish is possible after treatment: wax, stain, varnish, woodstain…

Can : Frameworks: Remove any friable and unsound parts. Reinforce or replace elements that are too weakened. Generously brush all surfaces, including non-infested areas, 2 or 3 times. Drying time between coats: 2 hours. For beams with a cross-section greater than 10x10 cm, drill holes 8 to 12 mm in diameter every 30 cm, to a depth equal to 2/3 of the wood's thickness. Inject the product using a funnel. Waxed furniture: if necessary, remove old layers of wax using AVEL LOUIS XIII WAX REMOVER (Ref. 3114). Generously brush the entire piece of furniture 2 or 3 times at 2-hour intervals. Heavily infested furniture legs can be soaked in a small container filled with the product. Inlaid furniture: apply as above. A preliminary test may be carried out. Painted or varnished furniture: strip the furniture using LOUIS XIII STRIPPER (Ref. 3105) to ensure the wood is properly impregnated, or use the XENOL aerosol with an injector.

Aerosol : Shake the aerosol. Inject XENOL into the galleries until saturated. Treat every 2 cm. Wipe off excess with a clean cloth.

Damaged parts can be repaired using LOUIS XIII WOOD FILLER (Ref. 3202 for 150g, 3205 for 300g, 3206 for 1000g). For woodworm holes, use MALLEABLE FILLING WAX (Ref. 3240)
